19th January
Lifeboat Searches for missing Fisherman
The Teesmouth All Weather Lifeboat was immediately re-tasked on its return from the previous incident to commence a search for a small fishing boat, which with one person onboard was reported missing from Hartlepool.
Teesmouth Lifeboat re-launched at 0843 and proceeded to the search area. An extensive search was undertaken involving Lifeboats from Hartlepool and Redcar and two RAF Rescue Helicopters. At 1232 Teesmouth Lifeboat reported locating the missing vessel in a position 15 miles ENE of the River Tees, the engine was running on the boat but no sign of the crewmember. The search continued until loss of daylight at 1600 in the meantime Teesmouth Lifeboat towed the recovered fishing back into Hartlepool arriving at 1618.
Teesmouth Lifeboat sailed from Hartlepool at 1650 to return to station and was re-housed and ready for service by 1815
19th January
Lifeboat Search
At 0300 Humber MRSC requested the launch of Teesmouth All Weather Lifeboat following a report from the Tanker Nord Stealth of the sighting of a possible body in the water. The vessel was in a position 4 miles East North East of the River Tees. After an extensive search by the Lifeboat, which produced negative results, the search was terminated at 0730, with the Lifeboat returning to Station by 0745.

16th January
Teesmouth All Weather Lifeboat was launched on service at 9.4pm to evacuate a sick crewman from the 90,000 tonne Swedish Tanker "Evinco" . The vessel which was in a position 4 miles from the River Tees had reported that the crewman was suffering from severe stomach pains and vomiting.
The lifeboat proceeded with a Doctor onboard. After an initial assessment by the Doctor the crewman was transferred to the lifeboat which then proceeded back into the River Tees. Crewman was taken ashore to an awaiting ambulance and transferred to James Cook Hospital Middlesbrough

2nd January
Lifeboat Searches for Overdue Fishing Boat
Teesmouth All Weather Lifeboat was alerted at 1640 following concern from members of the Southgare Marine Club that the 18 foot open boat "Our Freja" which with two persons onboard, had apparently sailed from the River Tees at 1000 and had not yet returned.
Teesmouth Lifeboat launched at 1650 and commenced a Radar and visual search from the River Tees to Skinningrove, whilst Humber MRSC endeavoured to seek further information with regards to ownership and possible fishing location.
At 1802 Humber MRSC reported that the wife of the boat owner had confirmed that the boat was safe ashore in Hartlepool. With this latest information Teesmouth Lifeboat was released to return to station, arriving at 1828.
